For youth workers, before and after a hostile public event

The Day
After

A racist attack, a hate campaign, an election result that promises to send people away. The next morning some of the young people you work with are afraid. This is a programme for that week.

It starts before the event, with three sessions a group can do in any room. It gives the youth worker a plan for the first ninety minutes and for the seven days that follow, and it says what not to do. It is built on what research and youth work across Europe already know, and it is tested with young people of migrant background in Berlin, Nice and İzmir.

Everything here will be free, in English, German, French and Turkish, and will stay online for at least five years.

Der Tag danach. Le lendemain. Ertesi gün.
